New 2024 Custom Mark Siegle "The Mohel" Electric Guitar
One of a kind hand-made guitar
Weight: 6 LBS 7 OZ
100 year old reclaimed pine body
Body was textured with the Japanese technique "Shou Sugi Ban"
This technique involves burning the surface of the wood and removing some material using a wire brush which leaves the raised grain exposed
One of a kind body shape
25.5" scale Oak neck
Medium stainless fret wire with 12" radius
Fingerboard appears to be ebony but not positive (its very dark but could have been stained dark)
Hardtail Fender bridge
Local handmade humbucker pickups by Dan Beaver
Alnico V magnets wound to 6.1k ohms (very low output)
These perform similar to a Filtertron humbucker
They are very clean and sparkly but when you put them into an overdrive or distortion situation they also rip
Very versatile
Mark Siegle has been building guitars in the Philadelphia area for over 40 years and his quality is very high
I have very high standards and I am a fan of his work
